IFS Food Safety Conference

The traditional IFS Food Safety Conference organized by International Featured Standard (IFS) for food business producers was held in the Ministry of Agriculture on 13th November, 2014.

Participants could receive a comprehensive picture of the current state of food safety and the future plans of food safety control. The provided information helped the domestic companies to prepare for the increasing level of food safety requirements. In addition to the lecturers of ministries, authorities, certification bodies and food trade participators, experts of food safety supporter enterprises also held presentations.

Amongst other things, the participants received information about the latest plans of IFS standard, the growing regulatory requirements, marks, a new method of commercial follow-up and EU funding opportunities that support high-quality work in the food business.

SGS Hungária Ltd. - as diamond sponsor of the event – was represented by Nóra Krzyzewsky, who informed the audience about the food defense requirements of IFS Food 6 standard and the opportunities of food business participants according to auditing experience. Nóra highlighted the vulnerability of the food supply chain and the opportunities of prevention through her practical experience.

At the stand of SGS Hungária there was a great interest towards the certification and product inspection activities as well.
