The Hungarian Society for Quality held its usual annual conference, the XXIII Hungarian Quality Week on 4-5th November, 2014.

On the first day of the conference, SGS Hungária Ltd. was represented by three lecturers. András Kákonyi SSC Business Manger and István Bárczi Sustainability Division Manager held presentations about the new planned ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards. András Kákonyi spoke about the reasons of the revision of the standards, the processes and the basic principles, István Bárczi, as an illustration of these, presented some of the new requirements of the planned ISO 14001:2015 standard. András Tohl Technical Manager held an interactive workshop in the afternoon session designed to understand the planned requirements of the ISO 9001:2015, which, in such form, was also novel in the series of the Hungarian Quality Week.

This year the conference had a far greater interest then in the previous years. The presentations on the planned new versions of the widely used standards probably contributed significantly to this.
