SGS Automotive Services exhibit at 11th EAEC Congress in Budapest, Hungary
The 11th EAEC (European Automobile Engineers Cooperation) Congress will take place in Budapest, Hungary from 29th May to 1st June 2007. SGS will contribute to the EAEC 2007 Congress as the only platinum sponsor and will be internationally represented by the Automotive, CTS (Consumer Testing Services) and SSC (Systems & Services Certification) business lines.
The theme for the 2007 EAEC congress is “Automobile for the future”. This theme was chosen based on the challenges the automotive industry faces today. With over 240 technical papers being presented, the EAEC 2007 Congress will present many technical advances to cope with these challenges.
Topics to be covered will include - innovative test and development methods, virtual design & testing, as well as new automotive related norms and regulations. Key decision makers in the automotive industry are expected to attend.
The EAEC is a cooperation of 24 national European automotive engineering societies representing 49,000 automotive engineers. It was founded in 1986 as the European wing of FISITA (International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies). The German representative within the EAEC, as well as the FISITA is the VDI (Verband Deutscher Ingenieure).
The EAEC Conference creates synergies between engineers, decision makers and scientists in the automotive industry, and government representatives to improve European competitiveness in the fields of transport, energy and environmental protection matters.
